Through a small incision in the line between the hips and according to the pre-operative examinations and the patient’s anatomy, it is placed in the right space.

duration of operation
Hip prosthesis surgery takes approximately two to two and a half hours.

Buttock prosthesis operation can be performed through anesthesia or epidural anesthesia.

Inpatient status
After hip replacement surgery, depending on your general condition and the doctor’s discretion, you may be hospitalized overnight.

side effects
Brief swelling and bruising and a temporary feeling of pressure in the buttock area are side effects of the buttock prosthesis operation.

Infection, bleeding, tearing, displacement and creating a thick capsule (capsular contracture) around the prosthesis are possible complications of hip prosthesis operation. In such cases, it may be necessary to remove the prosthesis.

During the first few days after hip replacement surgery, avoid sitting on your hips as much as possible. Use the toilet.

With the doctor’s permission, 48 hours after hip replacement surgery, bathing is allowed.

During the first few weeks after surgery, sleep on your stomach at rest.

The result of hip replacement surgery depends on various factors and is unique. In general, its final effect is to increase the volume and beautify the appearance of the buttocks.
