Rejuvenation around the lips can usually be done through local anesthesia.
Inpatient / outpatient status
The lip rejuvenation procedure is performed on an outpatient basis and does not require hospitalization.
Possible side effects
Slight swelling and bruising of the lips is evident in cases of gel and fat injections and redness around the lips in cases of peeling, which resolves within a few days.
