Breast lift
Mastopexy (Breast lift)
With age, breast sagging occurs in women. Weight gain, pregnancy, lactation, normal aging and genetics are the most important causes of sagging breasts in women. Breast lift surgery is a common surgery in women that can be performed in conjunction with a breast prosthesis to compensate for the lost breast volume. During breast lift surgery, these can be done if you need to reshape or resize your aura.
Operation technique
There are several techniques for breast lift surgery. Over the years, we have learned that every patient needs his or her own technique based on the anatomy of the body, the consistency of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, and the consistency of the breast. In some patients, surgery is performed on the area around the NAC. In others, the incision continues vertically to below the breast, and in others, if the breast volume is reduced, placing the prosthesis at the same time during surgery will make the result much more beautiful. It is recommended that patients undergo breast lift surgery after the end of pregnancy and lactation and when they have not decided to become pregnant again, as breastfeeding has a negative effect on the outcome of this surgery. Some mastopexy techniques eliminate breastfeeding.
Duration of surgery
Depending on the technique used, the duration of breast lift surgery varies, but it usually takes 3 to 4 hours.
