Non-surgical methods also include thread lift for the double chin, high-frequency ultrasound therapy (HIFU), Kybella injections, and laser treatments. Before undergoing a double chin lift surgery, consultation with a physician and performing the relevant tests are necessary to determine if you are a suitable candidate for the procedure. 

In cases of severe skin laxity or high fat content, double chin surgery is considered the best option. Double chin lift surgery is performed using five methods: liposuction, neck and chin lift, submentoplasty, and Vaser lipo.

For individuals with mild to moderate sagging and those who are not interested in surgical facelifts, non-surgical methods are suitable. These methods are minimally invasive and safer, with a shorter recovery period. Thread lift, HIFU, Kybella injections, and Endolift laser are among the common non-surgical double chin lift methods. 

Before a double chin lift surgery, a specialist doctor will determine in a consultation whether you are a suitable candidate for the procedure, based on your chin structure and medical history. Generally, you are eligible if you fall into one of the following categories:

• Skin sagging in the area under the chin and neck.
• Presence of wrinkles or excess fat under the chin. 
• Loose muscles and skin in the neck area.
• Desire to improve the appearance of the face and jawline.
• Good general health and realistic expectations of the surgery.

The suitable age for a double chin lift is considered to be over 30 years old. If you are between 20 and 50 years old, you might achieve the desired results with liposuction, Vaser lipo, or non-surgical methods alone. If you are over 50 years old, it’s best to consult with a doctor about undergoing a surgical lift. 

Correction of the jawline and facial contouring, facial rejuvenation, tightening and smoothing of the skin on the neck and chin, and increased self-confidence are among the main advantages of a double chin lift surgery. In fact, with this procedure, facial surgery unlike non-surgical methods, the results are permanent.

• استفاده از کمپرس سرد برای کاهش ورم
• مصرف داروهای تجویز‌شده
• پرهیز از فعالیت شدید بدنی
• دوری از نور مستقیم خورشید و استفاده از ضدآفتاب
• رعایت بهداشت محل جراحی و اجتناب از شست‌وشو با آب داغ

دوره نقاهت جراحی غبغب حدود یک هفته تا چند ماه است. بهبودی کامل تورم و زخم‌ها ممکن است تا ۳ ماه طول بکشد. 

نتایج حاصل از لیفت غبغب جراحی در صورت اجرای صحیح و مراقبت‌های مناسب، احتمالا سال‌ها ماندگاری داشته باشد. بااین‌حال، فرایند طبیعی پیری، تاثیر خود را در دراز مدت خواهد گذاشت. در نظر داشته باشید که روش‌های غیرجراحی ماندگاری کمتری دارند و معمولا باید سالی یک بار تمدید شوند.

هزینه لیفت غبغب به نوع روش، وسعت افتادگی و تخصص پزشک بستگی دارد. روش‌های جراحی هزینه بالاتری دارند اما نتایج طولانی‌تری نیز ارائه می‌دهند. از آن‌جایی‌که لیفت غبغب جزو درمان‌های زیبایی قرار می‌گیرد، معمولا تحت پوشش بیمه‌های پایه نیست. بااین‌حال، برخی بیمه‌های تکمیلی ممکن است بخشی از هزینه‌ها را پوشش دهند.
