There are various methods for shaping, lifting, and augmenting the buttocks, all known as buttock lifts. Individuals considering these procedures should be in good general health, avoid smoking, and maintain a proper diet.

Examination of different methods of buttock lift surgery

Buttock lift surgical methods include liposuction, buttock implants, removal of excess skin, and the Brazilian butt lift. Non-surgical methods include fat injections, thread lifts or Botox, and specific buttock-shaping exercises. The use of creams, lotions, and diet will also complement these methods. The effectiveness of each method varies depending on the individual’s body condition and expectations. Like as, Types of body cosmetic surgery for a buttock lift, don’t forget to consult with a specialist surgeon.

Examining the various methods of buttock lift surgery

Buttock lift with fat injection

Buttock lift with fat injection is an outpatient cosmetic procedure that is usually performed under general anesthesia. The duration of buttock fat injection varies depending on the individual’s body condition, but on average it takes about 2 hours. In this method, the doctor first identifies the area of the body from which fat is to be extracted. Then, after disinfection, the desired area is treated using VASER lipo or liposuction technology to remove the fat, which is then prepared and injected into specific areas of the buttocks.

Most surgeons prefer to extract fat by inserting a 3 mm hole and using a tube called a cannula via liposuction to remove the needed fat. This fat is collected and stored in a special container. Then, the prepared fat is injected into the required areas of the buttocks to improve the shape and volume of the buttocks. After the injection is complete, the holes are sutured and covered with a waterproof dressing.

Buttock lift with implants

One method for enhancing and shaping the buttocks is the use of silicone implants. In this procedure, flexible implants are placed within the buttocks to create a larger and more shapely appearance. Sometimes, doctors combine this method with filler injections to achieve a more natural result. However, before the procedure, it is necessary to ensure there is no possibility of an allergic reaction or adverse reaction to the implant materials.

In this method, the appropriate type of buttock implant must first be selected. After that, an incision is made in specific areas of the buttocks, usually in the intergluteal cleft or along the midline of the buttocks. Then, the implant is placed in the appropriate location, which may be under or over the muscle. After placing the implant, the incisions are carefully closed and sutured.

Buttock lift with liposuction

Liposuction is another surgical method for buttock lift that helps improve its shape by removing excess fat and loose skin around the buttocks. This method is invasive and requires careful post-surgical care. Also, the final shape of the buttocks may not be perfectly symmetrical unless the procedure is performed by a cosmetic specialist who is skilled and experienced.

In this method, excess fat is first removed from various areas of the body such as the abdomen, flanks, and thighs using a liposuction device. By removing fat from certain areas of the buttocks, a specific shape is given to them. The main goal of this method is to tighten and improve the buttock contours by removing excess fat.

Buttock injection with filler

One of the non-surgical methods for shaping and augmenting the buttocks is gel injection. This method is preferred by most people due to its high effectiveness, acceptable results, and minimal side effects. However, before the injection, the physician must carefully review the patient’s history of allergies to prevent potential reactions.

This method begins with a consultation and examination of the suitable areas for gel injection. Then, for the patient’s comfort, local anesthesia or analgesics are used. After anesthesia, the gel is injected into specific areas of the buttocks to increase their volume and improve their shape. After the injection, the physician carefully evaluates the shape of the buttocks and ensures satisfactory results. This method is suitable for individuals seeking minor changes without the need for more extensive surgeries.

Buttock lift with threads

Buttock lift with threads is a non-surgical and minimally invasive method for tightening and lifting sagging buttock skin. This method uses threads similar to surgical sutures which, when placed under the skin, stimulate collagen production, leading to firmer and more shapely skin.

This technique is most effective for correcting sagging buttocks, lifting and shaping loose tissues, but it is not used to increase volume or enhance projection. The longevity of this method is usually between 8 and 24 months, and it is popular due to its low risks and short recovery period. However, like other cosmetic body procedures such as thigh lift before proceeding, the physician must perform the necessary tests to ensure the individual’s body is ready.

In this procedure, the physician first identifies the areas requiring lifting and tightening. Then, through small incisions, special threads are inserted into the buttock skin. These threads, by pulling the skin, cause tightening and lifting of the buttocks. After the tightening is performed, the threads remain inside the skin and do not need to be removed.

Buttock lift with Botox

Botox is a natural substance commonly used to reduce facial wrinkles such as forehead lines, frown lines, and smile lines. It works by relaxing the muscles, causing the skin to smooth out, and usually requires no special care or recovery period.

Besides its cosmetic applications for the face, Botox can be used to lift and tighten the skin of the buttocks. This method helps shape and improve the appearance of the buttocks, but it is not suitable for increasing volume or creating a more prominent appearance.

In this procedure, the doctor identifies the appropriate areas for Botox injection into the buttocks. Botox is injected into the buttock muscles to reduce muscle contractions and give the buttocks a more lifted shape. These injections cause the buttock muscles to relax and create a more natural form.

Buttock lift is usually a suitable option for individuals who have problems such as sagging, deformation, loose skin, or reduced buttock volume. Individuals in the following groups are suitable candidates for a buttock lift:

  • Individuals who suffer from buttock sagging due to aging or heredity.
